EXTRA MILE

Christianity is not just religion or a form of faith. It is all about way of life. Christ came to earth not to create religion. He came all the way down to earth was to show the way of life, the true path that will lead humanity into total freedom, into the real life.

Today I’ll share a part of His teachings that you may apply to our life no matter are you believers or are you not believers.

"And if someone wants to sue you and to take your tunic, give him your coat also.

And if anyone forces you to go one mile, go with him two." --Jesus Christ

In doing something to help others, He teaches us to give extra mile. Whenever somebody asks you to do something for them we are required to give more then they asked. If your mom asks you to wash your own dishes, you will wash your own dishes. However, 'extra mile' requires us to do more than just wash our own dishes. We wash all the dishes. Whenever your boss asks you to give report on the end of the day, excellent workers will give the report on the mid-day.

All is done without expecting something in return. Extra mile is done sincerely. Simply it is the ethos of Excellency. Giving the best to everyone no matter who they are, and doing so without expecting something in return.

Let's give more than ask more. It is better to give than to receive.
